BT Shop

Searching on-line showed some options, with BT Shop being cheapest at £197 including free next day delivery. The camera was in stock, so I ordered. 1 hour later I get an email asking for "security" details as follows:-

1) The address to which your credit/debit card is registered exactly
as shown on your statement.
2) A landline telephone number as which you can be contacted during the day.
3) If you do not have a home telephone line, then please tell us how you connect
to the internet including which internet service provider you have used
to place the order
4) Full confirmation of the delivery address including recipients name, company name
if applicable, and relationship with this address.

Having already supplied ALL this information during the ordering process (as well as extra security required from Capital One), there was no way I was going to waste half an hour replying to this email. Also, having provided both my phone and land line number during ordering, I was at a loss as to why no-one bothered to phone me to ask me for whatever information was needed to complete the transaction.

I cancelled BT shop and ordered from Amazon instead. It was £20 more expensive but getting rid of the BT shop hassle was worth it.

I would not recommend BT Shop if you want an easy life.
