This is a dreadful company. Ordered a TV over a month ago. Have heard nothing from them in that time. They do not answer emails or return phone calls. Strongly recommend you avoid this company.

If you've paid them by credit card, raise a dispute with the credit card company. Its probably the best way of getting your money back. Read Full Review »

Please do not use this online store at all costs, I understand they have shops that I cant comment on This may be better as you may be able to take away there and then.

Purchased a LCD tv from this firm back

Purchased a LCD tv from this firm back in October 2008, felt that a 30 day delivery period was rather long but as it was in their terms I lived with it.

The television failed to arrive and after numerous calls to their customer sales and support I felt like I was getting no where so I cancelled the order and asked for a refund.

I purchased 2x 55' (le55a596) Samsungs from teleworld on the 1st of December. They
were priced at 300 each less than anywhere else on the net and avaialable as In-Stock

Their was alot of very unhappy people who had waitied upto 6 weeks for free delivery .
So I thought i would call them and see if I could pay extra to speed up delivery time.

Very interesting comments... exactly same experience that I had with "free" delivery money goes straight away,but up to 28 days means - YOU WAIT FOR 28 DAYS NO LESS! Very difficult to get refund so ended up waiting the full 28 days.Also problems with delivery company,they didn't deliver when they said they would so nobody in to receive.. TV left at nearby house! I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy from Teleworld! I ordered an LCD TV which I then found out would take up to 28 days for delivery but they take your money as soon as you confirm your order! I then emailed them to cancel my order and was told I would receive a confirmation email of my cancellation. 10 days later I am still waiting on my email. Fast and efficient service. I recently purchased a Sony Bravia 40" and expected to wait 28 days for delivery but to my surprise the order was placed on a weds and i received my delivery by Friday.
I would use the company again.
