I am shocked that such a big company as Debenhams can have such appaling customer service and be able to get away with what they do.

Ordered a duvet which was on special offer and received confirmation of receipt of order. Money was taken out of my bank account the following day and was stupid enough to believe the letters and emails I received advising that the product would be sent direct from supplier. Debenhams Direct is a slur on the good name of the Debenhams brand.

Whilst their website is rather poor, that is forgiveable. However their after sales services is dire - it took me 2 months to get a full refund on goods they never sent me - and it seems rather hit and miss whether the goods on the store are actually available to buy. Don't waste your time ordering online. I have tried to order on 4 separate occasions and every time the order was cancelled due to lack of stock. They just put headline offers on items and then only fulfil any extra full price items you buy at the same time. AVOID! Read Full Review »

I wont be shopping in Debenhams ever again.
The staff are poorly trained apart from the comsmetics staff who's companies train them.

While Debenhams are a fantastic store to go shopping in the online experience leaves a far from pleasant impression of this multi-million pound department store. After logging in and signing up every page displayed an error in my browser settings. Each time I tried to place an item in my shopping basket it failed to acknowledge it. Considering the size and status of Debenhams I am appalled at this mediocrity with the online service. Read Full Review »
