After shopping in my local asda store

By Anonymous (13/05/2007)

After shopping in my local asda store for many years, I have recently noticed the standard of service rapidly deteriorating, especially customer service.
Asda customer services don't even seem to know their own returns policy, let alone be able to count 27 days back from the current date, and obviously have the power to move a major religious festival back by a month.
All I wanted was a refund on a faulty pair of shoes, that I had only had for 27 days, and they said the reciept was "out of date"!!!!! They also said I couldn't have bought them in April because Easter in 07 was in March. She said that she wouldn't have bought a pair of shoes from Asda anyway as they are "not a lot of good"!
They then threatened to call security because I politely asked if they were calling me a liar.

The moral of this story is go to a reputable supermarket, like Tesco or Sainsburys, or anywhere you like but NOT ASDA.
