I bought a vacuum cleaner and later on i decided to return it. But when I took it to the store and told one of the staff that i would like a refund.The staff took long time to deal with me,latter on he left me for another half an hour to discuss to his manager. What a joke the staff have a serious attitude problem!! customer service stinks, they do NOT want to help they would rather stand around talking to each other all day. excellant service - freezer on special offer with free delivery - l choose my delivery date and the day before l phoned to find out the 4hr delivery slot which was between 8-12 - on the day of delivery got a phone call at 8.30 to say they would be delivering within the hour at 9.15 my freezer was delivered by 2 very helpful men they also took my old freezer away for safe disposal which was free ... Have to say that my personal experience matches that of many previous posters.

I seem to have had a problem that other reviewers have experienced with Currys taking my money and waiting until after the delivery date to tell me that the product is out of stock and I must wait 3-5 working days to get the refund. DO NOT BUY FROM CURRYS!
I bought a digital camcorder from dixons/currys for £270. I was very careful with it, yet it stopped fully functioning within 3 months, after barely any use, just before christmas.
