The Fridge Freezer was delivered 2 days late, Currys did inform me by telephone that it would be delivered late. Good that it is February and the weather is cold I kept the milk outside in the garden. Not so good if it had been baking hot summertime. Avoid this store. They refused to take away my old fridge/freezer, although this was part of the deal. They claimed it was not defrosted properly. I received 4 emails from them and not one of them said anything about defrosting the fridge/freezer. Neither did the ordering web page. Neither did the delivery company's website. Curry's Lakeside Retail Park branch, steer clear, none of the staff know what they are doing or what they are saying, they are either totally unfamiliar with any of the stock or they are trained to tell un-truths. With such poor service & the (Southampton, Winchester Rd) manager's 'attitude problem', they have just lost a £1300 Laptop order from me!! Why?...I took a 79 year old friend to curry's for him to buy a dvd/vcr player - no problems at this point (of course, they're selling!) - problems begin 4 months later when the machine break's down and we retur... I really have to disagree with a lot of the comments, my husband and I went into Curry's in Dundee at the retail park on Boxing Day and it was extremely busy with shoppers, within 15 mins we had purchased a T.V, laptop, MP3, Wireless modem and other little extras with no hassle what so ever. I recently bought a Dyson vacuum cleaner

I recently bought a Dyson vacuum cleaner which dropped in price by £121 three days later! No problems whatsoever in getting them to refund the difference to my credit card under their price-match guarantee. This is valid if you find the "identical" item at a lower price within 7 days in another DSG group store, including at Currys itself. Read Full Review »

The price promise does not only apply through DSG groups. It applies to any local retailers. Basically, if you find the same product cheaper in any local retailers i.e. comet, we'll match it and beat it by 10% of the difference.
