I ordered an LG Plasma TV and a TV

I ordered an LG Plasma TV and a TV table. Total value £1044+

I opted for the extra cost next day working day delivery.

Having submitted the order I quickly received two e-mails one from the company confirming the order stating a member of their team would contact me to arrange delivery time and a second from their payment handling branch confirming the payment had been authorised.

The day comes, I take a day off work and nothing, no phone call no delivery.

I e-mailed customer services, who to be fair did get back to me promptly, they informed me;
1 The products were not in stock!
2 I should have received an e-mail and
3 My bank had withheld payment as they required security clearance. (contrary to their own payment e-mail)

I contacted my bank and they confirmed that they had not withheld payment.
