Rang on Friday to check stock status of

Rang on Friday to check stock status of TV, and could they deliver on Saturday (defore placing the order). Assured it was in stock and available for delivery.

Called Saturday for the courier tracking info - no one could find it. Many calls later it transpired the consignment had disappeared. So cancelled the order and found another TV from John Lewis.

Having to chase retailer for info on refund - communication from retailer is poor. I understand they were probably let down by the courier, but the processes they have in place do not seem good and I am having to chase them for all info - not a good experience.

Price of the TV was very good, but too much hassle when it goes wrong. John Lewis were much better in the end (with 5 year warranty).
