Discount Direct

I ordered a Hoover freezer on line. Ten mins after I placed the order, Discount Direct phoned to say they were out of stock and Hoover could not indicate when they could resupply them. They offered some alternatives to consider. I asked to think it over but the next day decided to cancel the order as we needed a new freezer pronto! No problem to DD. Little more than two hours later they left a message to say they had since pushed Hoover hard to give them a supply date- it was 12 days off, but did I want to reconsider? I still decided to go elsewhere, and so they arranged to refund my credit card. That did take 4 days, but it did come through without being chased up. So though I didn't actually do business with DD, I have to say their Customer Service follow up, and desire to find something for me in the right timescale was very good indeed. If my Plan B doesn't work out, I would not hesitate to start all over with Direct Discount. Of course as a result I have no experience of their delivery service accuracy.
