The small saving in cost in comparison

The small saving in cost in comparison with other vendors does not make up for the poor service I have received.

Delivery date communicated efficiently and clearly so I waited patiently from 7am till 5.30pm before checking the goods would arrive by the latest 7pm delivery timeline.

I was told, by Kitchen Science customer service, that the delivery was scheduled for 2 days later. The reason - the delivery company only got the order that day (8 days after I was given the delivery date).

Why didn't Kitchen Science call me to let me know of the change?

Apparently they can't see it in their systems. It was the delivery company who had made the changes and they took no responsibility for the customer service element of this, even though I have no direct link to the delivery company.

Buy local or from one of the big names online rather than put up with the level of service they give.

This was my first and last experience of buying from Kitchen Science.
