The Sony 40W4000 I ordered is beautiful,

The Sony 40W4000 I ordered is beautiful, no complaints with the product. Digico on the other hand were difficult.

Although their site showed the product as In stock , it wasn t. The anticipated 3-working days from order to delivery, took a month - with constant phone calls and chasing from me. Now I understand that the order took place over Christmas/ New Year and that Sony were not releasing stock - but this was poorly communicated and delivery dates were just missed.

Eventually I ended up exchanging emails with the manager and I was allocated one of the newly recieved stock.

Their excuse for showing the item as In stock is that this was hard coded into their site and indicated that they sold this product... What?! "In Stock" surely means that the item is "in stock"! If it s on your website it means you sell it, that is not the function of describing goods as available if they are obviously not available.

Overall a very difficult buying experience that could have been much improved with some attention to customer care.
