I ordered a divan base with drawers from this store and paid £30 for Saturday delivery. The divan base was delivered in such bad condition that I took photos and sent them to customer service. If I could give them a zero for delivery and customer care, I would too. Ordering and availability was fine, but i've adjusted these down to give them the overall rating they deserve.

Like all mattress companies they promise

Like all mattress companies they promise next-day delivery, and make a big deal about this. But they don't give you a specific time (just 0800-1300), nor get the courier to call you when they are half an hour away, as many are happy to do.

Went onto their website, I was actually confused as to which one to buy as there is a lot of choice!

So I phoned them, a lady called Claire was really helpful, I chose one and ordered it over the phone at lunchtime and it arrived at 10am the next day.

I was emailed throughout the process updating me and I'm really pleased with their service levels!

Hi , i just had to rave about my mattress order. i ordered at 3.30pm on a Tuesday with their Sales Center, the advise i was given was brilliant, they gave me options to pick my delivery day, i selected to have it the next day, when i phoned customer service at 9am just to check the mattress was definately coming, they advised that it was all on schedule, and it arrived 9.45am . Easy to order, company kept in touch when I ordered a couple of weeks in advance and the delivery driver let me know when he was close to delivering.

Mattress man seem to have a long way to go on customer service. Their service line requests you leave your name & number for them to contact, they just don't. In my experience they double checked their stock of an item on request only to e-mail later saying they did not have it. Read Full Review »

If I could give 0 stars for availability, delivery and customer care then I certainly would. I have had poor service from Mattressman and I have not had my goods delivered and as a consequence I am temporarily without a bed to sleep in.
