Order placed by e-mail 3 Dec 2006. Confirmed on 4th stated delivery 9 Dec. An e-mail Dec 8 confirmed the items will be sent to our delivery teams to despatch. The order failed to arrive on 9 Dec and I asked for an explanation. An appology was received Dec 10 and was advised that your parcel will be delivered within the next few days. They the delivery charge of £4.95 claiming it showed genuine concern. Another e-mail Dec 10 stated I have checked your order and it is showing that delivery was made on the 9th December
On Dec 11 2006,I e-mailed Thanks for getting back to me. It would be appreciated if the parcel were NOT left out in the event of nobody being around to recieve it. Delivery would be acceptable 16th Dec. Please could you confirm this. On 12 Dec one of the 3 Train Sets arrived in a cardboard box whilst nobody was at home. The box was in clear view of the street and damp weather conditions. I phoned next day expressing concerns and it was agreed that the delivery would be made the following Saturday.
On Dec 14 I e-mailed these concerns but had no reply.
In a further e-mail I noted no reply. but was informed that the remaining part of the order will be delivered Sat. They failed to arrive. I telephoned just after 5pm to be informed that the parcel was at Gatwick. I followed this by an e-mail Dec 17 expressing poor service and stated that nobody bothered to contact me. I was somewhat incensed when I was told it is normally be 40 hours before a manager could get back to me. No call was received.
On Dec 17 they e-mailed they were unable to answer your query at the moment and would be back in touch.
Further e-mails on Dec 18 asked for an explanation and expressed concerns over wasted time and effort to ensure that someone was available to recieve deliveries.
Later, they told me that their delivery team to look further into the matter.
The goods arrived without pre advice on 22 December
