Amazon is a great site and the ordering is easy BUT if anything goes wrong or the order isnt delivered within the timescales stated ...they dont want to know. I rang customer services and they were less than helpful then the operator said she would find me an email address to help me further and left me on hold for almost 15mins!! As usual, brilliant service.Book ordered as a last minute Christmas present on the evening of 16th Dec. Delivery estimated 24th Dec. e-mail confirmed despatch 17th Dec. but due to bad weather, delivery not guaranteed for Christmas. By the time I received the e-mail, my daughter rang me to thank me for the surprise book! Delivery, in atrocious weather, took 36 hours. Well done Amazon!!! Read Full Review »

Customer service will hang up on you if your query is complicated and/or you're right and they can't think of excuses. I called because I wasn't able to finish an order because of a glitch in their system, and by the time I called them they raised the price. So when I questioned why this happened and that I'd like to buy for the reduced price, the guy hung up on me. I suspect it was a false advert... Read Full Review »

I bought some hard-to-find DVDs on Amazon, and find their site so easy to use, and obviously it is trustworthy and reliable.

It isn't necessarily the cheapest place to buy, but when I don't know anything about the other sellers, and if the price isn't that much more expensive, I would use Amazon just cause you can rely on them.

I used Amazon to buy many products. However, recently, a defect Asus T91 product happened and I used their customer service.

The refund process is proved to be very difficult as Amazon doesn't have a good system with their partners. Asus and Amazon have a conflict refund policy.
