I ordered on line for an item that I was

I ordered on line for an item that I was told was in stock. I needed the item within 5 days, as promised, as a birthday gift for my son. I then recieved an email two days later to say that the item wasn t in stock, even though the website still stated that it was. I then had to telephone pixmania to cancel the order and was told that it was back in stock and would I like it to be dispatched (as if I would have wanted pixmania to hold on to the item until I called?). I then recieved a further email which indicated that there had been a further logistical delay which would add a further two days to the delivery date. When the item arrived, nobody was at home so I had to then take a bus journey to collect it. With hind-sight, I wish I had just bought the item from the High Street and I would not use this supplier again, or recommend them to anyone.
