The courier service used by the company

The courier service used by the company were hopelessly disorganised which meant it took an extra day to get my screen, an extra charge, which is being refunded and several long winded phone calls to an 0870 number, costing me money. When I finally received my item it did not work. That can happen with any company, but the way the return was handled was so customer unfriendly. There was no one available to help over the weekend to arrange a repalcement and I had to ring an 0870 number and go through a recorded menu to find that out. When I finally found a human, they hung up on me when I complained. Eventually I was told that in oreder to replace the item I would have to pay the same amount again plus delivery, until they received the broken screen back and ascertained the fault, when my original amount would be refunded. Quite why the customer should be over £100 out of pocket for a broken item, which probably cost them £30, was beyond me. It took another 2 phone calls to get the return arranged because each time I was not given the full information of what was required to arrange it, including a call back from the technical team to find out what was wrong with the monitor. I have written to the company to complain, but have not had a reply. I ll never use them again. Big company,no focus on the customer.
