The status then changed to out of stock. 2 days later I ordered the cd from another store and cancelled my order with Tesco. I haven't ordered many items from Tesco.com. But i've never had a problem with them. I've bought mainly books with free delivery and the odd DVD/CD bargain. One time there was an error made with a DVD sale price, but they sorted it out quickly. The delivery has always been fast. I have seen all the negative reviews about Tesco and just wanted to my experiences. I have ordered many porducts from Tesco.com over the years and had not troubles at all, the site is easy to use, the checkout is a lot simplier than Amazon, and the prices are pretty damm good, no complaints at all. I have purchased a number of items from TESCO, and at all times have found that items ordered have arrived promptly, One one occasion I received a duplicate of an ordered item, due to a computer error, I contacted TESCO and they sent me a pre paid postage sticker so that I could return the item in question. I have never been so dissapointed in all my life. Tesco had a problem with their website, with the delivery dates. They then conned me into placing the order and stated that they would sort it out in the morning. This review applies to Tesco Books. The prices are often competitive but the actual availability/supply of many of the non-mainstream titles they advertise leaves much to be desired. I have had lots of instances of being strung along with extensions for many weeks after the advertised delivery date, finally to be told that the book I ordered cannot be supplied.
