I wish more people would communicate their poor experiences to Tesco at CEO level, Trading Standards and Environmental Health. I have experienced very poor service from Tesco at all levels - on line groceries (the worst), books and DVDs (never arrive, lost or delayed orders, damaged covers/contents) and electrical goods (for which they are generally not the cheapest anyway). I've used Tesco online for a while and was generally satisfied with the service; even though there was always at least one item wrong (I never bothered to complain).

Totally agree, don't bother!! What a waste of time. I ordered over the phone on saturday and arranged to collect at the Denton Homeplus store. I was told it would be available from monday after 4, so I left it until tuesday. DON'T BOTHER!!!!!!!!!. I placed an order last week, had the money taken from my bank only to be told mid week that my order would be another 48hrs late due to a problem at the warehouse with a computer.

The Tesco online grocery service is a

The Tesco online grocery service is a complete fiasco. They never have the products we need and the delivery never comes when it supposed to. 36 hours late being one example. I strongly suggest everyone sticks to shopping in store and if they want delivery use Ocado!

Watch out for dodgy low quality DVDs in store also! They seem low price for a reason. Use Play.com Read Full Review »

I ordered my groceries online. I often have substitutions as they don't have the products I want. The buy one get one frees have been missed off the bill, I have had products missing, I receive poor quality of fresh veg and the fridge food is almost out of date.
