Tesco Wine

I've used Tesco online for a while

I've used Tesco online for a while and was generally satisfied with the service; even though there was always at least one item wrong (I never bothered to complain).

My last online shop, however, had three things wrong: one item had a 'use before' date of the following day - so I had less than 12 hours to eat a packet of heavy German bread; the free item of a bogof offer was missing (worth about £6), and they sent the wrong variant of another item. I also had no receipt from the driver because 'the computers were all down' so didn't know what I'd been charged.

I contacted customer service and after about 5 emails and one letter later, I managed to get a curt reply authorising a simple refund. In all, it took about 2 weeks to sort, with customer service representatives communicating like polite robots - repeating how 'important your views are' whilst failing to deal with the problem!

Also, I've been trying to get £8 worth of 'missing' clubard points added to my statement since July. I've been promised 3 times that they would appear on my next statement. Well, I've just received my next statement and - surprise - they still haven't been added.

I give up and have just emailed Tesco to tell them forget it. I've decided I'll never use Tesco again - Asda can have my £200 a month!
