Tesco Wine

I have had the most appalling service

I have had the most appalling service from Tesco in relation to an order for an AEG refrigerator placed on 25th October 2005.
This was meant to be my wife's 60th birthday present.
I received an order confirmation to be followed by:
- AEG thought that I had ordered a washing machine. The order had to be cancelled and resubmitted.
- Having sorted this I took a day off work to receive the wrong fridge model.
- I was the told that AEG had the correct product in stock and I would receive it in a few days. Instead I received a cancellation.
- On taking this up with Tesco, they say that AEG quoted the wrong price and offered to supply at twice the price I had ordered at.
- I have written to the Director of Non-Food Distributaion at Tesco.com (J P Riley). I am still awaiting a reply.

So my wife has no birthday present and we will have no working fridge for Christmas. Happy Christmas Mr Riley!
