An absolute nightmare. Tesco sold the

An absolute nightmare. Tesco sold the dishwasher - Servis deliver it. Tesco give you one date but Servis postpone delivery if they can't contact you (they phoned my work number only once at 17:30!). The dishwasher arrived - started leaking within 2 weeks - not easy to spot because it is built-in. Arranged with Servis for service engineer visit for Thursday, on Wednesday the 'Comet' Service centre left a message on answerphone saying they wouldn't come unless we confirmed that day then got offensive because my wife had to do the school run! The Service Engineer said the door catch just needed adjusting and 'fixed' the problem - within a week it was leaking again at the same place. I asked for a refund or replacement - Tesco said you need 3 service engineer visits before they can do that (refusal to give a refund for faulty goods has been a criminal offence since 2003 - Tesco doesn't feel it applies to them). I'm now in the process of taking them to the Small Claims court as it's the only way to get my money back under the Sales of Goods Act. I wouldn't advise my worst enemy to buy a large appliance from Tesco.
