Please do not be taken in by the "big flower company website look". 100% satisfaction guarantee was just a gimmick call.

I ordered a birthday flower for my girlfriend living in UK in november 2006. (I just found this website hence the review now.) Being a foreigner, i looked online for a good and reliable UK florist wanting to make sure she get flowers on her birthday while she's still in the office. Serenata Flowers seems to fit my choice due to the e-commerce award 2005 given to them. I paid extras for the delivery to be from 9am - 11am. All these were done a few days before her birthday.

To my horrid, there was a mistake in the delivery address as it was rendered incomplete by a bug in their online ordering form which non of their staff(s) discovered until i made a "call back" request 1 hour after the requested delivery time.

The customer service representative told me that the mistake seems correct until the delivery man went to the place and realised the address is incomplete. No action were taken after that. Had i not called back, i wondered if the flower will be delivered at all.

I made a request for the flower to be deliver as soon as possible but it seems to be ignored. The flower was only delivered at 6.38pm. They'd totally ruined my day.

Serenata Flowers realised the mistake but did not seems to care to rectify the mistake immediately and after that incident, i wrote them a email asking for a satisfactory answer and wanting to at least get back the extra money paid for timed delivery. The email was never replied and no refund was given. I even wrote a review which, as expected, was never put up on their customer's review page. So much for their 100% satisfaction guarantee and no-quibble replacement or full refund call.
