These people have no idea of what online

These people have no idea of what online shopping is all about. It is a family run thing and you do not expect any better. I placed an order on the 13th of December hoping it will be here by Xmas. Since i did not want my order to arrive home i chose a different delivery address. After 4 days i receive an email in which they ask me for my credit card statement because the shipping address does not match the credit card address. Needless to say this is not common practice. Since i was already late i thought worth risking. My shipment was kept pending for another 5 days. I sent an email but no one replied. I tried to call them but there was no number on the website. I called their webdevelopment site (It happened to be the same company). I was told that the statement i had sent was not clear and they needed another one. I sent another one. I sent it again. After 2 days they told me they needed an updated one in which their transaction showed. I explained that the bank issues a statement monthly and hence i could only send them a print screen of my online banking in which the transaction showed. So i did. Finally i got confirmation of my order wit status set to 'Ready for Dispatch' Another 8 days passed and this status did not change. I sent multiple emails to which i got no reply. I called again and was told that given it was Xmas (30th Dec) my shipment was still not dispatched. I asked them to cancel my order and credit back my account. I was promised this would happen today. Still waiting. Lost money on the currency conversion, did not get my gifts and left many family members let down. These people do not know how to use an email let alone how to run an online store. Don't Risk.
