I WOULD NOT recommend anyone to buy from

I WOULD NOT recommend anyone to buy from this store!
I have had nothing but grief from them right from the word go.
In fact the only thing that they were very good at was taking my money.
I searched the net and researched the LCD TV i wanted. I then located the T.V on Digital Empire website and it was a little cheaper than other web based retailers. Only by about £20 I may add
I ordered the TV on 23RD Sept 2008 after i read on the wensite, we guarantee to deliver your TV within 3 working days... 'Order on Tuesday, be watching your new TV by friday'.
Friday came and went. so I started emailing the company via their website but got no reply to 3 emails.
I then telephoned the company and I was told that the TV that I had ordered was not in stock and they were waiting for it to come back in, depsite the fact that they had already taken my money out of my account the day after my order.
The so called customer services man then tried to0 fob me off with a cheap replacement for the TV that i had ordered trying to baffle me with science about the TV's currently on the market, but I refused and stuck to my guns. I was then told that the TV would be withy me the following Thursday, this is now 3 weeks after I had ordered the TV.
On the Wednesday as I hadn't heard anything I decided to contact the company again, and guess what?
yes the TV was still not in stock but no one had bothered themselves to email or call me to let me know.
Again an attempt was made to fob me off with a different TV, but again i stuck to my guns and demanded a refund.
i finally received the refund this thursday, 16th Ocotber after I had again contacted the comapny via telephone to ask where my money was..
All in all it has been a FARCE from start to finish...my best advice would be to stay well clear and use a name that you can trust.. Dont email them as they wont reply... and dont let them fob you off with cheap alternatives to the item you ordered.
