I purchased a Siemens washing machine

I purchased a Siemens washing machine via Direct Electricals and it turned out to be faulty. The machine makes holes in clothes during washing. I first reported the problem to the manufacturer and they claim it is normal for the machine to make holes clothes are washed using the "easy care" program with half load! This is aparantly due to the very poor quality of clothes these days. The machine even damaged tough denim jeans (original CKs). We have been using the easy care program and that still continues to damage clothes although it is an improvement on before. Almost a month ago, I reported the problem to Direct Electricals and they still cannot help me apparently because they are waiting for reports from the manufacturer! I have now put in a claim through my legal cover so that they can persue this matter for me. If I had bought the machine from a large high street retailer like John Lewis, it would have been refunded or replaced ages ago. My advise is buy from a large high street retailer if you want go od after sales service (most offer price matching too).
