My order was placed on 10 August for delivery on Saturday 29 August, for which an additional sum was paid. The total sum of £422 was taken immediately from my account.

Although I received, on 26 August, a delivery confirmation email I had to ring on the morning of the 29 August to check, as I had not received a call or email the day before as I had been told I would.

The call from me, on the confirmed day of delivery, revealed that the delivery could not be made as goods had not been delivered from the manufacturer! I was advised that the goods would not be available until 15 Sept at the earliest. I did not cancel the order as I sought a level of assurance and was advised that it would be delivered immediately thereafter.

Today 11 Sept, a month after the order, I rang to check when the delivery would be. At first I was advised that it was to be delivered on Tuesday 15 Sept. I challenged this as I had paid for Saturday delivery. I was told that delivery could be made the following Saturday 19 Sept. At this stage I was placed on hold for six minutes only to then be told that the order could not be filled and would I like an alternative model.

I have been without a working Fridge Freezer for over a month, Boots Appliances have had my payment for a month and did not keep me informed of development with my order.

I went to Boots Appliances because price and the company name but I will not use them again for such orders.
