This merchant is based in France and sells French stock to the UK market, which is why prices are so competitive. That was something that I was not aware of until I had placed my order and found a link to download my manual in English. I did not read the terms and conditions before ordering and I would imagine they do mention it. There is one important point I want to mention and that is the Item I bought was absolutely brand new and not "seconds" nor a returned item( a Lumix TZ7 which needed a simple language menu setting to work in English).I had a slight problem with order confirmation and their French based customer service was both competent and helpful. They send out too many advertising emails once they have your address and permission, although you can unsubscribe to those. I recommend them fully if you don t mind printing off your own instruction manual, but I never installed the bundled software yet as I use a photo printer - the CD was labeled in English and French, so it might work. If English language software and manuals etc are important to you, it s better to buy from a supplier of stock for the English market but I saved about 50 Pounds Sterling compared to a well known department store (not including shipping costs and membership to a loyalty scheme). To me, brand new stock (unlike other items I have bought elsewhere) is well worth it, since I don t need the bundled software. JSR 24/6/2009
