Pixmania were advertising a TV I wanted,

Pixmania were advertising a TV I wanted, so I ordered it from them online. Some hours later I was emailed by them to tell me that the item was not actually in stock (though their website had not indicated this at time of purchase). Furthermore, I was informed that my credit card had been debited and "maybe I would like to choose something else of an equal or greater value". Reputable companies do not take payment until goods are despatched, let alone when the item is not even in stock! Of course, I cancelled the order using the correct procedure and, despite my cancellation being acknowledged immediately, the money had still not been refunded over a week later! I emailed Pixmania again demanding my money back pronto and this time they pulled their fingers out and refunded my card within 24 hours. This experience has rather soured my opinion of Pixmania, a company I had used before quite satisfactorily.
