The item showed as in stock, a deliverey date was given including text messages, phone messages and email confirmation, and then the date was postponed by 5 days. The reason that we purchased from the merchant was that the item was in stock and showed that a rapid delivery service was available. This was frustrating and I felt the internet had shown a false advertisment.

On complaining about the situation, the customers services department dealt with the situaton very well, with a manager returning my call.

The delivery service was good, giving a morning or afternoon slot so that I did not need to wait in all day. The delivery staff were ok, but did not give me the time to inspect the item, went into the kitchen without an invite and helped himself to a pen in my fruit bowl without asking so that I could sign the paperwork. I understand they are busy, but perhaps he could have respected my dwelling a little more!
