I would have given Sainsbury s Kitchen Appliances an overall rating of Excellent, had it not been for the fiasco regarding installation - which admittedly reflects on the delivery company, rather than the supplier. Ordering on the website is very straightforward and communication regarding delivery time slot is also very good. Our problem arose as we had asked for installation. The delivery team arrived without the necessary tools, were told by the company to go and buy them and return to install the machine the same day, but instead went home after their final delivery. We waited in for the installation for a further 5 hours after delivery and despite being assured half way through this wait that they were still coming, it was 5.30 in the afternoon before we finally heard that they had gone home. This was a Saturday, so no further communication until Monday. They were then unable to come back and install when we were at home so we had to get another installer. Sainsbury s customer care was very professional. They immediately refunded the installation charge, and with a bit of persuasion, refunded the extra charge for Saturday delivery. If you just want a delivered machine this company is excellent, but think twice before asking for installation!
