The only reason for the "poor" rating on

The only reason for the "poor" rating on customer care was not Sainsbury s direct fault. The contractors it used to deliver and install the waching machine were pretty poor. I had paid for a full installation. The chap responsible for installing was obviously (and I mean really obviously) in a very big hurry to get onto the next job. He made a pretty poor attempt to connect up the washing machine. After about two minutes (literally) of trying, he declared that the water inlet pipe was too close to the waste and so the whole drain/pipe area would need re-working before the machine could be installed.

By chance I had (very good) builders in who were just finshing off installing a new bathroom. They heard the guy talking and as soon as he left came up to me, called the guy an obvious cowboy and installed the machine in about 5 minutes (again, certainly no longer).

So, the ordering and delivery arrangements side of the Sainsbury s offering were excellent. It s such a shame that the cowboys they have used to physically install the maching have let them down so badly.
