Sofa ordered May 08. Two wks later, told there was a problem with the sofa and they had to change manufacturer and sofa wouldn't be ready until the 30th Aug.

Ordered TV unit, an ordeal that took twenty minutes. Asked for this delivery to be linked to the sofa when it came into stock and the two could be delivered together.

Orders weren't linked as promised, had I not checked the TV unit would have been delivered with no sofa.

14th Sept - Sofa had at least three piercings and was discoloured in places. The front of the TV unit drawers were badly damaged. Had to send photos to prove this before they would agree to replace them.

20th Sept - New sofa and TV unit delivered, meant to be quality control checked. The sofa was a left handed sofa instead of a right handed sofa and the TV unit had no instructions to put it together and holes for the fixings had not been drilled.

22nd Sept - Sent letter of complaint, answered with a letter saying they would refund our £40 delivery charge. We replied saying this was an insult and that we had lost hundreds of pounds because of days off work etc, they came back with a £150 credit note so we could spend more money in their stores!!

24th Sept - Sofa and TV unit arrived two hours later than promised. TV was already constructed and was acceptable. Sofa was unpacked but drivers could not attach the legs. Attempted to attach the legs and found that in one of the corners of the sofa we could only screw in three screws, also had to make the holes ourselves. Two legs were badly bent, the other two legs were far too big for the sofa. Delivery men also trod mud through my hallway and living room and I had to have these cleaned..

7th Oct - Been trying to get this matter resolved for the last two days but still have not got anywhere.

I have never known a company so incompetent and with so little care for their customers satisfaction. The way in which the whole thing has been handled is a complete shambles.
