Savastore.com

I bought an Aries laptop from savastore. The laptop was good value but still an expensive purchase, but I thought I was protected as it had an extended warranty.

However, the laptop was delivered late, the software disks were missing, the ethernet port broke in the first month and the hinges on the screen broke a few months later.

The onsite warranty turned out to be a typo and they expected me to pay to return the laptop. When the hinges broke, the laptop was returned unrepaired as they had determined it was 'customer abuse'. I had tried to contact them to explain that I didn't think this was the case, but all attempts at communication were ignored.

I feel extremely disappointed as I had thought that savastore being part of watford electronics to be a reputable brand. Unfortunately the product itself was of sub standard quality and the warranty wasn't worth the paper it was written on. My overall impression of savastore is that their low prices reflect the low quality of their products and extremely poor customer service.

I would never purchase anything from them again and have advised all of my friends, colleagues and customers to do the same.
