While Savastore offers a large range of products at competitive prices, in my experience if you ever need to use their Customer Services department you will regret going anywhere near them.

I ordered a DVD player which arrived faulty and spent the following 6 weeks trying to get a replacement or refund.

However, this proved a completely fruitless exercise due to the following :
1) Any feedback I submitted via the website was not responded to.

2) All emails I sent directly to the Customer Services department, including the Customer Services manager were ignored (even though I got a read receipt for several of them !).

3) Savastore do not publish their Customer Services phone number on the website, and when I did manage to find it I was put into an endless queue. I gave up after 30 minutes on each occasion. The phone number is also an 0845 number which costs more than a normal call.

4) I managed to obtain the phone number of the Customer Services manager from a discussion forum and when I finally managed to get through to his answer machine I left a message but my call was never returned.

In the end I reported the Company to Trading Standards and luckily managed to get a refund from my credit card company.

So, if you are buying any item that could potentially arrive damaged or become faulty during the warranty period my advice would be to spend the little bit extra at a reputable electrical retailer with a proven Customer Services track record. It will definitely be worth it for the piece of mind as Savastore's Customer Services department is virtually non-existent.
