Do you think there is anything worse

Do you think there is anything worse than a store which does not deliver your goods?
Oh yes: a store which misses the delivery AND does not inform you.
I placed an order on the 31st July, and one week later, after noticing the order status was still "on hold", I called them to check what was going on. They said "We are unable to sell your item at the price on your order due to an increase in our cost price. The new price is £XYZ".
There were grounds to appeal against it, but I'd had enough and happily pulled out.
I wonder when I would be notified, if I didn't bother to ping them.
Not serious, and absolutely not recommended.
