I purchased a treadmill from gymworld.co.uk. Delivery was prompt. However, after delivery I discovered that the treadmill was just too large for my little house. I suppose this was a combination of my own stupidity and perhaps the website could have had a more detailed product description.

I have read the reviews for gymworld and was skeptical about buying from them, but I crossed my fingers and gave it a go. I selected their 3-5 day free delivery option and expected my call to arrange delivery.

5 days later
Called customer services to discover that the exercise mat was actually out of stock. I agreed to an alternative. Delivery due in a couple of days.

I have ordered the York C750 'Platinum Series' Cycle. I ordered this last monday for a saturday delivery, which still hasnt turned up. I have tried calling the delivery hotline but theres always no answer. Looks like i'll be waiting till next week, which is not very convenient for me!

I bought a treadmill from Gymworld about 5 weeks ago. It broke three weeks later. We called them and they basically told us to deal with the manufacturers. I wrote an email to Gymworld to complain which they have ignored. The manufacturers are very slowly dealing with it but at the moment I am out of pocket with a useless piece of equipment gathering dust in my garage. Avoid this lot at all costs... This company is highly unrecommended, purchased a rowing machine which was faulty, had to go through trading standards to get a refund. Go to a more recognised retailer and pay a bit more, its not worth the hassle. I dealt with head of sales which was terrible, after i asked politely for the machine to be collected repeatedly my e.mails were ignored. Im very surprised this company is still in busi...
