POOR SERVICE, LIES & ARROGANCE
You have been warned, keep well clear of this mob!
I spent a LOT of money on a complete home cinema kit with this shower & have never been treated so badly. One component of my kit had to be ordered in, they took my money (several Thousand pounds) & I then waited 4 weeks & had to make many phone calls to check if it had come into stock. Eventually they told me it was in stock & I travelled to their shop to collect. The young chap at the warehouse spent 20 minutes looking for it & then told me it had come into stock several days earlier but they had actually SOLD it to somebody else (unbelievable, I know!). I received no apology, they promised a replacement would be ordered the same day (1st LIE) & that I would receive it before the end of the week (2nd LIE). I rang the manufacturers directly to verify that stock was available & they confirmed that it was. Come the end of the week the clowns hadn't contacted me, I had to ring them again & was promised delivery by a member of staff in person on the following Monday (3rd LIE). At this point I doubted every conceited word that came from their mouths.
Monday came & still no contact from them, I had to ring again and the smug member of staff acted as if we had never spoke before. Delivery had apparently been postponed until Tuesday (4th LIE) & he would personally deliver on Tuesday evening (5th LIE). I rang the manufacturers & they confirmed that Sound & Vision had only ordered the kit 2 days previous & as they were now out of stock it was impossible for them to deliver for at least another 4 weeks.
I immediately rang Billy Smarts Circus, demanded a refund & purchased from Richer Sounds instead.
To summarise, these mama's boys are untrustworthy, disorganised, make empty promises, don't apologise for mistakes, tell many bare faced lies, have rude & arrogant staff & do not deserve your business. Stick with the big boys (John Lewis, Richer Sounds etc) instead of these back street cowboys.
