Ordered Toshiba LCD TV over a bank

Ordered Toshiba LCD TV over a bank holiday weekend. Was initially pleasantly surprised by the customer service of ringing me the following day to apologise for lack of stock and was told stock would be in at the end of the week.

I heard nothing and decided to e-mail, but got no reply. I then rang up and spoke to someone else who contradicted what I'd been told and tried to steer me toward another model because they didn't know when/if they would get new stocks of the Tosh. This despite taking the funds from the card.

Have since cancelled and am annoyed for wasting a week when I could have ordered elsewhere. Won't be ordering anything in future and will steer clear.
