I wasn't very happy with the whole

I wasn't very happy with the whole process of dealing with Digital Direct.

Ordered a new TV for Christmas and they promised Christmas delivery (which they confirmed on the phone 5 days before) never happened I cancelled my order in the hope of getting it somewhere else in time.

Customer services where obviously not as happy dealing with a cancelled order than they were with taking a new order, and the whole process took over 3 weeks to get my refund.

The conversations were short and abrupt and I had to send a lot of emails and make several telephone calls before they would refund my deposit.

From my initial request for a refund I got the impression that they were delaying and making things as difficult as they could.

A further two weeks later a letter arrived asking for my card details again so they could make my refund payment.

When I called the customer services number they supplied in the letter - no one answered - so I then called the new sales line and 'of course' it was answered within two rings - I gave my card details again for the refund but by the abrupt nature of the call I suspected the details were not even taken down and anyway the refund had to be dealt with another department - was I being unfair?

well when I called 7 days later to see why I had still not been refunded - it seems they had lost my card details again!! As I suspected another delay. The same person I spoke to before took my details again and performed the refund while I was on the phone (why they could not do this 7 days previous I do not know)

I would not usually leave a review on a company because once things are sorted out I have no reason or more importantly the time to bother with reviews. On this occasion however because I was so surprised by the way Digital Direct dealt with this that I thought I would share my experience.

Maybe I was just unlucky.
