Digital Direct

I was looking to order a large LCD TV,

I was looking to order a large LCD TV, but as I hadn t ordered from Digital Direct before I thought I would buy a DVD recorder first to test them out, as the review I had read about Digital Direct were mixed. Submitting the order was fine. I received a call from them within the timeframe promised, when they informed me that they didn t keep thsi item in stock so it would be 10-14 days, was that ok? I said yes it was fine. I called Customer Support who told me it was arriving the next day and I should have received an email. I had not received an email and I was unavailable the next day so re-arranged for 5 days forward. I stayed at hoem that day and by 3pm had received nothing. I called them and the yfinromed me that it wasn t going to be delivered until 3 days later! I was unhappy, but had no choice but to plan to be at home AGAIN! I asked if it could be specified morning or afternoon and was told it couldn t! They didn t want to do anything to help, given the inconveneince I had already suffered. Please also note that they had taken the money from me as soon as I had placed the order 3 weeks prior to receiving the goods. I would have cancelled the order otherwise, so they know they have you by doing this!

I won t be ordering my TV from them - I would rather spend a bit more money and get it from a reliable supplier.
