Digital Direct

Order placed on 14th January and

Order placed on 14th January and confirmed same day by E-Mail, so good start.

No further E-Mails or any phone calls from digitaldirect to advise status of order so I presumed from their terms that this item was in stock and awaited delivery.

Nothing arrived by 9 working days later so I called digitaldirect and was told this item was out of stock.
When I asked why no-one had E-Mailed or called me I was curtly told that I had received 3 E-Mails advising me of the status. I have never received these!
I advised digitaldirect that it was imperative I had this device by 7th February as I was going on a 3½ week holiday to New Zealand and was told it would be with me by then.

Nothing appeared by Tuesday this week so I called digitaldirect again and was advised that it would be with them on Friday (2nd Feb.), and it would be with me the following Monday or Tuesday at the latest.
Once again I reiterated the point about the 7th as my deadline.

I have just received an E-Mail from digitaldirect advising that this item is out of stock and won t be available for 2 Weeks.
As you can imagine I am very disspointed as I will now have to go to the high street shops at the weekend and pay considerably more for that which I could have probably got via another online seller.
