APALLING COMPANY, APALLING SERVICE

I ordered a barbecue from this company on Monday 23rd April with the intention of having a barbecue the following weekend. According to their website they have a 1 day deliver service. It is now 5pm on Friday 4th May and having postponed my barbecue until this weekend and spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to contact them by phone and email I am now going to have to go out and see if I can buy one tomorrow as I still have no barbecue from these people. Why?

Despite their website saying they have 1 day delivery their telephone line for their pre delivery team has a recorded message stating that they are having difficulty delivery products on time.

Arranging a delivery date consists of an email one afternoon telling you that delivery will be the next day (which would be fine if the delivery comes when you expect it but not when it is automatically scheduled for a week and a half later) - with no easy way to go back and arrange a suitable date.

And to top it all off on cancelling my order I was informed that I would receive a refund within 3-5 days of the cancellation being processed, but that they could not tell me (could not even give me a ball park figure) as to how long the order would take to cancel, nor could they put me through to the cancellations department or put me through to or give the details of anyone in charge.

Save yourself the bother and shop elsewhere. The few quid you'll save won't be worth it by the time you take into account the time you spend trying to chase them and eventually find an alternative!
