Excellent service from start to finish.

I ordered a Bosch eye level oven from Appliance world on the Thursday and the next day they called to see if they could deliver it on the Monday. Although this was excellent service, the company could not be flexible on the delivery day. Monday was the only day they could deliver to my area.

Ordering was easy, delivered at a stupdily early time and was left outside for me to find when I got up. I tend to judge these companies by how they respond to problems. The machine broke, I rejected it under sales of goods act as this fault appeared to be quite common (on further investigation on the internet), they used every delaying tactic in the book, they even accused me of continuing to use... Whilst we endeavour on all ocassions to deliver perfect machines, unfortunately we are unable to test them prior to going out. We offered to send an engineer out as is standard practise in our industry to ensure it had been fitted correctly and to resolve the issue with the minimum inconvenience to the customer.

We then did indeed offer an alternative machine which was of higher spec in all respects other than one element of the efficiency standard. We did collect the machine as per his request prior to him going to work so as not to inconvenience him and the tracker on our vans clearly shows this was later than 5am.

Finally, any delay in refund related to us awaiting an invoice for the fitting costs he demanded. At all times, customer service is our foremost concern and it is disappointing when despite all attempts, we are unable to assist certain customers.

Oven arrived within 7 days of ordering. Delivery window was anytime before 12noon but they agreed to ring me on mobile if after 10am - arrived 9.45am. No complaints. Good service. Read Full Review »

I ordered my Bosch dishwasher at 4.15pm

I ordered my Bosch dishwasher at 4.15pm and at 5pm I had a phonecall to arrange delivery time. At 8.15am the next day my dishwasher was delivered in good condition! The price was excellent too. I initially ordered only one appliance but, as soon as I had placed the order, my wife changed her mind and I had to cancel it. Appliance World refunded the money without question. I then ordered four appliances, got a great deal and an additional discount for multiple purchases. The delivery was exactly when they said it would be and the staff were helpful throughout. they took my credit card details advised that even though they had 2 in stock it would take 10 days to deliver.
