I ordered a Franke Rolux tap from Appliance World after contacting numerous companies only to be told there was a waiting period of a month or more!
I placed the order by phone on 07/07/09 and received the item on 16/07/09 a day earlier than expected. The courier phoned me before to check I was in-I had been told by AW that this would happen.

Despite web site stating free delivery on the dishwasher I was going to purchase (£453.07), at checkout a £30 'surcharge' was added. Web stated free delivery and makes a point of saying they dont use couriers but the excuse I got when I rang to query was that deliveries 'in the North' (I live in the East Midlands) imposed a courier charge. I tried to order 3 items that added upto £1100. The website told me I had to pay delivery (despite free delivery being a selling point on the website) so I had to contact the sales team- premium rate telephone number. A wonderful company. We had a long shopping list for our new kitchen and wanted a one-stop shop. I brought all new kitchen appliances from them and from the moment i called they seemed to care about if the appliances were right for me-not just about taking the money. The sales team were fantastic and honest...and the delivery team were with me at 9am and so polite.

What fantastic service!
I was so impressed by the courtesy and efficiency of everyone I spoke to, from the first step (the extremely helpful lady in sales) to the last (really pleasant delivery driver).
