I placed an order for store delivery 10 days ago, the website said the book was in stock. Was told the book would be in store last friday. A week later i get an email cancelling my order. It seems that Smiths like to advertise books they can't get hold of at low prices to get customers, very poor service and an irritating waste of time as well. Read Full Review »

I ordered a book because it was quite a bit cheaper than anywhere else. Great! - not so. WHS apparently tried to get it but not much happened. I wasn't desperate to get it fast, but after a few weeks I thought I better email them asking what's going on.

I have so far ordered two books from WHSmith online and have had both delivered free to my local store. Both arrived within a week (so not really fast delivery but satisfactory). This merchants listing for the book I required showed FREE delivery, but this is only for delivery to local branch,this should be clearly stated on Kelkoo listing not amongst general info (who reads everything?)postage cost me £2.58 even though I sent an immediate email stating I was'nt prepared to pay postage on principle,I think they're getting orders under false pretences. I tried to order this book but did not have the password I used some time ago.

The system seemed to send me around in cicles. Eventually an email arrived trying to help by quoting the last 4 figures of the credit card I used the last time I ordered.

This was no help because I have since changed my card.
