I've actually joined Kelkoo for the sole reason of warning people about ebuyer.

Being a large, well known company, it may well be that you've used them, and haven't had any problems. But here's what happened to me - the worst online purchase experience I've ever had..

- Bought a TV for £540.
- Paid £15 extra for postage etc, which I was assured would be next day delivery (this is primarily why I bought it through ebuyer, as I could take the following day off).
- Took the day off work and waited in all day and evening.
- No delivery, no txt, no email, no phone call from them.
- Asked for a full refund using their enotes system.
- Waited for reply.
- Reply was that they'd look into it.
- Waited 3 days for response.
- Asked for response.
- Said they would give a full refund.
- Waited for refund.
- No refund, no response.
- Asked for response.
- Said they'd process the refund in 3-5 days.
- Got refund of just £540 (the price of the TV). This took 2 weeks from making the order.

So in summary, ebuyer charged me £15 for not delivering the TV I'd paid for, keeping my money and causing me grief for a couple of weeks, and wasting a day of my holiday.
