I brought i bruin activity table for my

By fii edge (17/09/2007)

I brought i bruin activity table for my daughter, after a week we realised that it was downright dangerous as the locking mechanism on the removable legs just doesn't work and when one of the legs fell off when she was standing against it, it toppled over, she fell on top on it and hit her face on the toy splitting her lip and gum open which was in no way pleasant. we did eventually get a refund from our local store but even after such a nasty injury they didn't really take it seriously, the store manager checked the same activity table from their in store stock and it was found to have the same defect and yet the toy is still on sale!!!!!
if the one i brought and another random one in store was found to have the same defect then how many others have it? it's still on sale and yet they know it is defective.

they make it as difficult as possible to return any product, if you buy anything from them then it seems to be the case over and over again that the only person that loses out is you, or your carpet when your daughter cuts her face open when she spills blood all over it due to a downright defective toy and they just don't seem bothered that the thing is still on sale, how many more injuries will it take for them to do something about it?
