Very disappointed with Sweatband. Before

Very disappointed with Sweatband. Before I made the order, I both phoned and emailed with questions on a product. On both counts, I was answered, but neither agent told me about the availability (or lack thereof) of the product. I then went through the entire process of ordering a product, and getting an email saying that it had gone through. That was Sat 31st May 2008. On 2nd June 2008, I received an email saying it was out of stock and that Sweatband was talking to manufacturers about an earilest available date!

I wanted to buy an exercise bike for my parents and get it set up before I left as I live overseas. We all had high expectations, and now we feel very let down.

Why can't they have real-time connection with their supplier's database, or why can't they check the inventory before they generate an order? It is simply ridiculous and I am unlikely to ever go through them again.
