I wouldnt recommend MFI stores to

I wouldnt recommend MFI stores to anybody. They are great when they are taking money from you. Once they have sold you the kitchen they couldnt care less. We paid a lot of cash for our kitchen in January 2003. They installed the kitchen in October 2003, looked lovely. A couple of weeks later the wooden work tops began to split. The fitter came back and said the wood was faulty, so we would have to have new work tops. This was done. The day after I got up to find they had split again. The manager came out to look at them eventually several weeks later he suggested it was the sun causing it coming in through the window {he was serious}. That was July 2004 and today we are still waiting for them to sort it out. I think we have been very very patient with them. Not any more. Over the past three years I must have made around thirty phone calls to the manager {who I might add is either off work or will call us back, which he never does]. Only yeserday I spoke with his under manager who practically told me to shut up and let him get a word in, good job I wasnt stood in front of him. He is now going to arrange an engineer to come and look at it, so I wont hold my breath as to when that will be. So three years later we are still waiting for results and I am going to see my solicitor. Please dont pay cash upfront like we did, once they have your money they dont care. And their after care sales team can be very rude and totally unhelpful.
