Jessops

Early July I reserved to buy a dslr body and a lens from jessops website (Nikon D300 & 18-200mm DX lens) I chose collect from store option and as it was in stock decided to collect from the jessops at canary wharf London.
I went to the store next day in the morning to collect and pay for the items. Before I talk to any of the assistants I had a quick look at the Nikon display cabinet and noticed the D300 display camera was not present.
I showed my printout with the ref number and asked to see the Camera and the lens before I pay. I saw the camera & lens boxes were opened so asked why the D300 box or the lens box was not sealed. The sales assistant told me that Nikon items do not come sealed.
From a closer look I noticed the camera was the former display unit (dust under the camera body, nail scratch on camera body this happens when taking off a lens from the body. It's removable, battery was inside the battery compartment) It was clearly evident the D300 has been taken out of the shelf just moments before I walked into the store. I asked the sales assistant if it was taken off from the display cabinet, she answered they were not and it is brand new. Also there were no more D300's in stock. I asked to speak to the manager but unfortunately he wasn't in at the time.
They tried to sell me the ex-display items as brand new camera and lens, lied to me about it when I asked. I cancelled my order by email and also sent a complaint through jessops website. Received no reply from them.
